Would you pay extra for Sports Mode?

Just for fun, if this had been optional, say an extra $2000 to $3000, would you have been willing to do so or save the money? Do you think it's worth it or would you rather save the money? Simple poll: yes or no.

Ok....lol.... let's assume no changes in tune....do you think it's worth it? Like to get a general feel....I agree with you by the way; needs a way more better tune....

No. I have sport mode and the only thing it does is change steering feel. Can't imagine throwing $2k into the gutter for that. Bert

If that would be the case then I think they should make sport mode the standard programing and make people pay more the the touring mode or standard mode with the extra nanny precautions.
With the automatics both the ATS & CTS in sport mode the engine braking decreases and ect and I can't stand how all the new cars do that.

I would not spend extra for it but I know in some package I already did, but I wouldn't search out the options list and buy or not buy based on that. Remember Cadillac people are reading this we don't need to be nickel and dimed to death in the newer cars! :-P

No way - this is why the car is interesting.

Already, there are three factors involved:
    1. Steering stiffens
    2. Shift Points Change (Auto Transmission Only)
    3. Suspension Stiffens (MRC equipped vehicles only)

You already pay for AT and MRC in the option packages.

    I vote for three modes:
    1. Touring Mode (Economy Mode)
    2. Sports Mode (Steering and Shift Points Change)
    3. Track Mode (Suspension Stiffens)

And I would like to make Sports Mode the default, it still takes a heavy foot to change the Shift Points...

The 3.6 has regular gas as it's recommended fuel - if 'sport' mode had tuning that could take advantage of running premium, it'd be something anyway. Right now, it really seems to do not much of anything.
