    Valentine V1 hardwire

Want to hardwire my Valentine V1. Saw there is a fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash. Many of the fuse locations are not used. Question is are they hot and can one insert a fuse in an unused location and get the power needed or do i have to tap one of the exisitng used fuses. Really easy location to use as I can run the wire right down the drivers side pilar to the box. Appreciate the help

Here you go: Fuses 17 and 18, power flows on/off with ignition on/off. Take a look at this thread for info and pics: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...where-diy.html

When I did it, my only concern was that the wire would be difficult to squeeze between the dash and the pillar. This concern turned out to be a no-brainer. Just push the wire in using a flat tool...really easy. Good luck.

In my Vs, I just tapped into the dome light. Never an issue.
