    Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I was just pointing out the irony of the ATS discussion board being relatively negative, whereas the rest of the world seems quite blown away by the CTS, me included. And whether or not you personally feel the ATS is conservatively styled, the general take has been that in spite of its good looks, it is fairly restrained. I like it, but I don't love it...and I really wanted to.

    The CTS however - though I haven't seen it in person - definitely pushes the envelope, took more chances (at least on the front end), is more aggressive and represents a more polished and sophisticated version of A&S. This approach is riskier, but it has its rewards. It's more polarizing, but I'm glad to see Cadillac take that risk. Most seem to agree.

    they also took a big risk with the 2nd gen CTS styling - i seem to remember people not liking that either and then loving it (same for when the coupe was released)
