Cadillac "heritage of ownership" grill badge for ATS?

I haven't gotten the usual postcard asking for me to send in for my complementary heritage of ownership badge like I have on my other Cadillac purchases. I wonder if they are still doing it/or if any of you have received one yet?

My dealer told me that they had discontinued that. It doesn't affect me much since this is my first Cadillac, but I know a guy that's had a long string of them and he was pretty mad to find out they stopped doing badges.

    Cheers,
    Mark

Interesting. This is my third Cadillac (all within last six years), and I had never heard of this before this thread.

I just talked to my sales manager and he said it is no problem to order a heritage of ownership badge. There is a number that the dealership just has to call and tell them how many Cadillacs you have owned.

Maybe they don't want you keep buying Cadillacs.

Just kidding. Made me think of a coworker back in the 70's who literally never washed his car. It still had the window sticker glue on the window when a year old. He mentioned that he had taken it in for service and the dealer had removed the license frame with their name on it. LoL

as far as I know they haven't discontinued the program... would be kind of weird to discontinue a heritage program for such a long-running brand

I'm reading they may have just switched from free to paid. Definitely would seem weird to discontinue it.

Are these generic or do they have model or year on them?

Re: Cadillac "heritage of ownership" grill badge for ATS?

usually the salesperson/dealer pays for it
if you've bought a bunch of cadillacs from them it shouldn't be a big deal at all

i'm pretty sure that change was due to the restructuring ... everything has to be paid for and costs accounted for
