    Coin holder?

Relize this is a minor issue but driving me nuts.
Has anyone figured out a good spot or found a descent aftermarket coinholder? There's just nowhere to put loose coins - always used the ashtrays but no longer see them.
The access door area for the charger outlet would have been ideal if they made it into a tray that flipped down vs up.

I agree it's a little obnoxious. My change is currently in the cupholders.

I put a bunch of quarters in the access door area for the 12v charger. Haven't heard any rattling or anything and it holds a decent amount of quarters

    Re: Coin holder?

I picked up a $5 cup holder ashtray off amazon. Ripped out the removable plastic butt extinguisher and dropped it in the cupholder cubby in the driver door. It does create a slight audible rattle when I crank the stereo, but I can live with it. I don't get why the little storage compartment next to the 12V, under the hidden compartment isn't bigger though. Seems like there's excessive bezel there.

This is something Cadillac should offer as a very low cost option. I had no problem with change in my CTS and was disappointed with the ATS's places to put same.

I think the answer is: EZPass. Do you still go through exact change lanes?

I have an ezpass but still like to have quarters in the car for parking meters!

If you reach behind the center console there is a little lighter/storage bin for the rear passengers. This is pretty easy to access from the front and would keep the front container open for more immediate use items.

There's only about a thousand coin holders on the internet you can buy for next to nothing....

obviously, but after buying/leasing a $48k car I shouldn't have to shop for accessories with the teenagers at the local Autozone.

The ATS is for people who have EZPass and who don't park on the street. Deal.

And I'm guessing you'd say people who don't use drive-thru's either...

I don't remember signing the no EZPass, street parking & drive-thru's agreement but ok.

Agree. That's what the center access door under the CUE is all about. That's what it was built for: change, eyeglasses, phones, etc. Whaddayouwant? Coin holder written on it?
