    Right low beam error message

This morning I received a right low beam failure service message. When I walked outside the vehicle it appeared to be working fine. Have others experienced this issue?

If you are going to have maintenance soon you can ask this question.

I got it once too. Lights were fine and never happened again.

This happened to me. They had to program a sensor for the steering, and this fixed the problem

    Illini333,

Sorry to hear of the concern that you are having with your vehicle. If it happens again or if you'd like peace of mind a dealership visit is definitely recommended. Keep us posted!

Re: Right low beam error message

I brought the car to the dealer. They were able to pull the code but as of yesterday did not know the fix. Hopefully they figure it out soon as I dropped my car off on Monday. They are also taking care of my power steering service message I have received twice; That one left no code. Although the low beam error message is a nuisance the steering is more of a concern. The first time it happened the steering felt quirky a split second before the error message came on and I actually over steered a turn because of it.

Got the same error a couple of weeks ago. Turned off then back on the car. Error msg went away. Typical problem resolution for electronics. Haven't seen the error msg since [knock on wood].

Same thing happened to me today. First time in 3,000 miles. I shut the car off and restarted - no issues after that. I was in a parking garage and it looked like the headlights were working fine against the wall.

Re: Right low beam error message

I had this happen the other day, actually while I was on my way to the dyno. Lights seem fine and it hasn't come back. I also had the rear-view camera go blank that same trip. It happened while I was backing the car onto the dyno, made me a bit mad because that is one of the times where it would be extremely helpful.

It's worked fine ever since. The electronics were just grumpy that day.
