    JD Power Quality Survey

Got a JD Power quality survey in the mail today. Unlike past ones, this one is done online.
You describe your cars equiptment and it asks all about your experiences.
Took awhile to fill out but was interesting.

    Anyone else get one yet??

    Re: JD Power Quality Survey

Hi Frank. Yes I did the survey a week ago and it was interesting. Fortunately it did not take to long to complete only because I did not have any problems to report or any things I did not like. First time I did the JD Power survey.

Yes, I also got the survey. The only problems I was able to report was the transmission cable seperating from the gear selector, and the noise in the HVAC system. Otherwise I gave the car all good scores.

I don't understand why people are putting down the CUE. I guess anything new, people don't like to change, so they blame the unit and not themselves. I am no geniuis, but I have no problems working with CUE. It functions properly for me and I actually love it.

My father in law just got the new 2013 Accord with all the techno goodies. He had zero clue on how to use any of the features and keep bashing the car. I asked him if he either took the time to read the owners quick reference guide or go back to the salesman and ask fir a tutorial if how to use. The answer was no.

Hence, this is a good example of the many buyers of XTS ATS who don't take the time to learn how to use new technology. All else fails read the damn Manuel !!!

When I first got my Ford Focus the Mytouch system absolutely sucked. One day I received a USB stick from Ford that updated the system, now it works very well and is easy to use. I am sure Cadillac will update the system and improve the user experience.

I have no problem with the CUE system; I have found it to be quite intuitive once you start using it. It took me about a half-hour to program the car's settings to my preferences, etc. Like anything new, one needs to READ the Owner's Manual. Consumer's Reports whining about CUE is their problem, not mine!

BTW, I'm 71 years old; if I can figure out how to use the system, anyone can!

Just wanted to hop on briefly to comment on the CUE-aspect of this discussion. It's great to hear positive feedback, although all feedback is welcome. Thanks for your honesty, everyone! I'll be sure to document your comments where the appropriate GM teams can access them.
