Cool What are YOU coming from??

I thought it would be cool if we all posted up the car(s) we are leaving behind in order to get into an ATS. As always with these kinds of threads, pictures are encouraged. This is a fun way to get to know the people on the forum and how they view the ATS. It seems already that the ATS fills the roles of both a luxury car and a performance car quite well.

If you are not coming from any specific car, but are rather just adding the ATS to your fleet, post up why you chose it and what other cars you considered (or are currently considering).

Just a few days ago I sold my 1997 BMW E36 M3 sedan. It is seriously a kick-ass car. However, it is just too old; it is time to move on into the current age. I chose the ATS because it best fit the bill of a brand new car that is like the E36 M3 sedan (RWD, decent amount of power, LSD, four doors, manual transmission, relatively lightweight, etc.).

    Here are a few pics:

OK here is my 09 Audi A4 that both my wife and I love. We just thought it was time for a change. Had Audi made some substantial changes to the 13 A4 we probably would have stayed with Audi.

IF I decide on an ATS my wife will be taking my 2011.5 XC60 R-Design and we will trading in her 2009 Honda Pilot Touring.

Very nice O.P. I like the black grills on the E36 M3. Looks very clean.

Anyways, if I do decide to get the ATS; I will be trading in my 2011 CTS Performance for one when my current lease ends.

    2007 BMW M Roadster.

I must say I'm surprised seeing I'm not the only one coming from trim levels spec'd as "performance" (M3, AMG).

Well I mean my ///M is a 1997, which a modern-day 328i can keep up with. Newer entry level stuff is comparable to older higher-trim stuff... if that makes sense.

No picture needed, 2009 Pontiac Vibe AWD. Purchased used (rental fleet car from California) with 30K miles on the odometer. Done with my utilitarian phase, ready for a much nicer ride. Still have my Solsitce GXP Coupe though. Keeping that one til it goes to my son in the will.

I get it, and in that regard we're different (entry level keeping up), but the suspension, steering feel, etc.. are still "performance" spec'd.
Nothing against the ATS (I am awaiting delivery of mine!), just thought I was a bit of a minority.
