    ATS Wheel choices

Only quandry I have is about ordering my ATS Premium trim wheels. Should I go with the 18" machine forged aluminum wheels or the polished? I hated my 2008 STS wheels which I believe were alloy aluminum...they constantly peeled and were a problem. The polished wheels are about $850 more...they look great, but which wheel will hold up better? what say you?

They are both forged aluminum wheels.

I'm in the same boat. I like the ones on the bottom but for some reason they didn't look right when I saw them last night.

Beware polished wheels if you are in the snow belt.

This is just my taste, but...

-I think the bottom wheels have a simpler, more to-the-point design. They are bold without being complicated.
-I think the top wheels are too curvy. They don't look performance-oriented to me, but rather luxury-oriented (Whether you like this or not depends what you are after in this car.).
-My dislike of polished wheels outweighs the design factor, so I would take the top ones. Good thing is, you save some $$$

As for looks I like the Machined ones, seems more of an aggressive sporty look. Seeing the 18" on the car to me it seems like it could use a slightly taller tire, like a 45 I think would be perfect. But overall I think it looks nice with the 18"s.

    I'd say the curvy wheels.

The polished ones look too "old" design wise, just something without a lot of sport to them.
