And I was told thought nobody considering an ATS would even look at the XTS in the first place..

Wait so the removal of ventilated seats and the full digital cluster (which were never listed as features) is a deal breaker for this car? Seems pretty petty in the grand scheme of what the ATS offers.

How can they "remove" something that was never there? That's like complaining that they removed the V8 or the wings.

Rest in Peace, J.D. (aka Dirt_Cheap_Fleetwood)

Maybe he means more along the lines of, "this is a Cadillac, it should have ventilated seats (on some trim level)".

I know i was hoping for them...

I would like them, too. But a deal breaker?

Consider this, would you rather have a heated steering wheel or ventilated seats? Of course ventilated seats. That was a terrible decision.

The absent of, might not be a deal breaker but it has given me a headache. I can just imagine all of the 97 degree plus days next summer. I'm sitting in a 52 thousand dollar plus automobile, with HOT front seats, but a HEATED steering wheel.I'm going to take two aspirin.

Hundreds of thousands of 3 series owners manage, and they don't even have remote start to cool off the interior before getting in like the ATS does.
Rest in Peace, J.D. (aka Dirt_Cheap_Fleetwood)

Re: What happened to ventilated seats?

That may be so. I have an 08 CTS with ventilated front seats. I don't care about what BMW drivers have. You don't miss what you never had. I'm talking Cadillac.

It was 114 degrees in Phoenix today. Imagine that.

Re: What happened to ventilated seats?

Who knows, maybe it was a trade for better seat comfort since the CTS seats seem to be so hated.
