What? So the second after you get it resprayed, it starts down the ugly road to crapville again. It's perfect for what? A few months of your entire ownership?

Oh no, I can see a line! So what? It just shows you have good taste to have your car protected...

Absolutely. I have never gotten enough chip damage on my vehicle that I would rather have that ugly line on it. It's not like it needs to be repainted every year or something. Even with all the sanding on the roads in CO, I don't have that many problems.

You can call it an ugly line. I know its purpose and if I can see a line, I applaud the owner as someone who appreciates their vehicles. And doesn't just use it as an appliance...

I buy a car because it looks good, I am not going to do things that detract from that. Just because it's practical doesn't mean it's worth it to all.

Unless it's a collector's car, it basically is an appliance. Like all appliances, there are different levels of appreciation. Personally, I think my refrigerator rocks.

I guess you could put plastic on your furniture too so it stays prettier.

The new 3M vinyl bra's don't yellow at all. I had a full kit put on the front of my SRX for $700 CDN. Bought a kit off ebay and had a pro install it. It does awesome! Going on year three now with no problems other than where I cut through it with a pressure washer.

Cut through with a pressure washer? I had to cut through with a cable median barrier...
