Cadillac ATS To Roll Off Assembly Line At Grand River Plant

First shift workers at the Lansing Grand River Plant are working on the assembly line right now to finish the first "for sale" Cadillac ATS.

It should roll of the line at about 10:30 a.m. It takes more than 24 hours for the car to get through the assembly line from start to finish.

Production of the 2013 Cadillac ATS added about 600 jobs and a second shift to the plant. GM invested $190 million in the plant to make the ATS. The body shop was renovated last summer.

The entry-level ATS will cost about $34,000. Expect to see them in dealership lots in mid to late August.
