seems fine, infact an M3 starts at 60K right now.... a B8 S4 doesn't exactly have dollar-tree pricing either, you can spec one of those well into the mid 60s (ie.. CTS-V territory, which is why more than a few people on here come from them)

Cars have gotten a lot more expensive in the last 5-6 years it seems. I think the average price is up $5k.

Same here. $40k as a CPO would work for me, though.

Though I haven't made a decision one way or the other, a one-year-old ATS-V with under 10k miles might be the more prudent financial course to take.

    Kinda like marrying a divorcee.

What are you talking about? ou're still in V1-land. The V2s are holding their values very well...

    ----------

I have a hard time believing an ATS-V will be near a current CTS-V's price...

there's probaly some de-valuing of the dollar stuff going on there to help it. However, I simply don't see a 60K+ ATS-V, low 50s *maybe* 49.X certinally.

All cars are overpriced today. It's ridiculous. I paid $31k for a freakin camaro. And that was with a tremendous discount.

What I don't understand is people paying $70k+ for a BMW or mb that is slower and not as well equipped as a Buick lacross.

They pay for the prestige of owning a BMW (or Mercedes, or Lexus, or...). That's the same reason many people bought Cadillacs decades ago...

Re: 2013 Cadillac ATS Gets Magnetic Ride Control Suspension

There's an Autoweek article about their first drive in the ZL1. It has GenIII, which has four smaller magnets rather than 2 larger per shock. The four increases reaction 40 percent quicker than GenII, for an adjustment at every inch of travel at 60mph.
