Tony, Portland Oregon from Ohio with those seats (Black phase 2 sitting in basement if anyone needs them). This Pearl white was 2 miles from my house and I saw the car 2 years ago and it was as nice as your first Pearl white Allante.

Jack looks are sure deceiving ! Went to drive this thing with money burning a hole in my pocket. As I posted earlier, I looked at this car 2 years ago and thought it was perfect. The body is still as nice as any I have ever seen, Not a mark or a ding. The interior is another matter. Seats are extremely faded and hard. (See a picture of thingy-eyed ashtray door in stereo modification section.) Garage door opener area between visor was in pieces.

Deal killer was the Abs disabled-abs ok message in the DIC. That's a $1,000+ add. My bad experience with the Valdez and now this convince me more than ever that these are not cars to be bought on Ebay sight unseen.

Funny side, I brushed my left leg against the door panel and the window went down and wouldn't go back up for 5 minutes. happened more than once. What's up with that?

Even funnier is the response pasted here was evidently edited to thingy-eyed. Now what's up with that. Tony the hunt for the Pearl white continues, Past on a '93 that was in Florida that I would have sent a deposit on but the guy could not wait 'til our Easter week visit to complete the deal. Will never again buy one of these things sight unseen. Guess you agree as you flew 100's of miles to pick yours up. The chase continues!

Was so convinced that I had found a white car that I was preparing an ad to sell the red. Stopped that in a hurry. Why in the name of goodness do you get a gotta have one disease. When you write down what you have done to your car to get it nice, you get a new appreciation for just how nice it is.

Anyone interested in a two top red '89 (74,500 miles)only thing wrong-it's not white.
(oops not a good statement –getting a fan message but bought the last brand new fan control module that Allantesource had.-waiting for spring installation)
Tuned -points plugs etc, etc etc-'09
    new Master Cylinder (from Allantesource)-'09
front Struts and suspension work -08
    Speakers remanufactureded by Bose-'06
    floppy visors -ebay cams -$100
top hasn't been up in two years and had the small tear on drivers side.
(Monzo embroidered patch used to cover-pictures on site)
Both sets of wheels (on tires) original and CTS.
    Keesmart door/fuel door/trunk automatic locking.
    hood painted '09 perfect match

Painted body side moldings from Tom Rohner’s Allante Store.

went to see the red beast yesterday. Damn what a good looking car! Man c'mon spring!

So Bill...those seats looked ok? It says rare, but I don't know that any Allante had clothe seats!

Ahhhh Spring is a comin'. We are reaching 50 this Sunday but I am hesitant to take her out as the snow is still melting...no salt water thank you.

Where I am, Wisconsin, the temps are to be in the mid-40's this weekend. That is spring to us. I am thinking of opening up the garage door and letting the sun shine in!

It's 9:30 AM and we're at 42...I'm firing up the smoker bullet today and getting the Allante out. It should be a good day
