I am the owner of an '92 Allante and need to replace the fuel pump. Do I need to take the tank out and what do I have to consider?

    Re: Fuel pump

I just had an experience with my '90. It just died while driving on vacation. Wouldn't start, then later started and ran for a few seconds, then died. Everything pointed to the fuel pump. Turned out to be the coil. Installed new coil and went on down the road.
