Question LCD screen for the radio

Where can I go to get a replacement for the lcd screen on the radio for the Allante'.

    -OR-

Has anyone put an aftermarket stereo on the Allante'? I'm not talking about under the dash or anything. I'm talking about gutting out the old console stereo and placing an aftermarket. Anyone have pictures? Please share...

Re: LCD screen for the radio

I have been wondering the same thing. Metra has 2 harness adapters, Metra 17-1857 which is a tuner bypass and amp integration and 17-1856 which is an amp and tuner bypass? they both state for Allante 1990-1993, but I have not tried. IF it truly does plug into the radio remote head unit in my 93's trunk, I can wire up a "Secret Radio" with remote in the package shelf area and CD changer and route the wired remote that comes with it anywhere, since the wireless remote is RF and does not need line of sight, it will leave the dash looking stock..
Anyone tried these harnesses, have any experience?

    Thanks, Dave
