I have a 1989 Cadillac Allante and for some reason about every two weeks or so the fuel injector fuse blows, and when I replace it it will usually last for another week or so. Both injector fuses are blowing out sporadically and I can't figure out why. I did the computer diagnostic check and it didn't come up with any codes that would point me in the right direction. The car also is lacking power - it takes awhile to get up to speed, especially uphill, but once you get going it drives OK. It starts and idles smooth, I've had a complete tune-up performed. It occasionally backfires on acceleration and my muffler recently exploded with a large bang, and I've got gasoline in my oil. When the car starts to stall at stop lights or looses a large amount of power I shut the car off, check the fusepanel and sure enough, one of the injector fuses has blown out again. Any help would be appreciated.
