    Help With Electrical Short

    My 88 Allante keeps blowing the #25 fuse under the ash tray. Is there a common place where a shorts occur.

    Please tell us what this fuse powers? Do you have either the owners or service manual?

    Yes i do have the manual it powers the interior lights and the locks. Some of my locks work and i cant get the interior lights to work because my twilight is shot , but i have another post asking about that.

    My 88 did that and it was the passenger sunvisor wiring where it passes thru the header to the visor. Years of folding it down and up caused the wires to be bare, shorting to the header.

    My 89 would blow the fuse after a hard rain... turned out to be the drivers side door lock solenoid ...
