1988 Dash and Defroster Grill Removal

Hello I need to Remove my Dash to repair my Digital Dash because some of the lights went out. Also I need to replace my Twilight Sentinal sensor, i tested it with onboard diagnostics and it would not change the reading when covering the sensor. I have tried to remove the defroster grille but i can seem to pry it up without fear of breaking it. Is there any tips someone can give me about removing these two things.

Assuming your phase 1 car is like my phase 2 car you do not need to remove the dash to replace the digital dash. Also if I am not mistaken there is a small cut out in the center of the dash grill where the twilight sensor is located. You only need to remove that small center cut out to service the sensor. Clean the sensor and recheck it before replacing it.
