    Complaint of a dealer

    REaders:
Over the past 3 months I have paid two local dealers to stumble around the issues with my Allante. I paid out about 5,000 at this point. they don't seem to know how to fix the car. My question is two parts:
    1) Can anyone tell me how to get the attention of the Cadillac organization that would oversee these dealers?
    2) Can anyone refer me to a good independent Allante mechanic in the Worcester Massachusetts area?

    Re: Complaint of a dealer

I have the same problems with my Allante's. Allante' Source is the only ones I've contacted that have any idea about these cars. I've paid dealerships until I'm broke. I'm still having trouble getting proper diagnostic on my 1988. Had the transmission overhauled and I still can not get it to shift into Overdrive. Some say it's The TPS switch, some say it may be Map sensor and or Mat sensor, if not all. Switches are a little expensive. No one know's much about these cars .

    Thanks,

    Frank
