I think Ill try this one more time before I give up. Does anyone have any idea what seats will possibly work in the Allante ? My seats have hardened over time and I believe they are too far gone to save. Not sure what to look for and I thought I would give you guys a try. Thanks

Re: Seat that fit
There are a lot of Allante's being parted out. I would search for replacement Allante seats. Check E Bay for an Allante being parted and inquire about seats. The 93's had Eldo seats but probably not in a color that would match your car.
only seats from another Allante will fit perfectly ( bolt in with no modifications) Seville and Eldorado seats from years 86 to 91 MAY bolt in, but the seat control electrics may be different and difficult to modify , Eldos and Sevilles of that time usually had the seat control buttons on the drivers side door, not mounted to the seats as the Allantes do, plus the Allante seats are a special Kaiper-Recarro design, specifically for the Allante, the oter cadillacs did not use the Recarros.
I spent several years trying to get my original seats back to the original state, they too were extremely hard (the leather) and the foam had been deteriorating under neath. Any competent upholstery shop can re build the original seats, new foam and covering, it is just somewhat costly. The best deal I found where I live in Southern California was about $550 per seat, recovering in a quality leather. after a few years of searching, I found an Allante that was being parted with seats in great shape, I just redyed them in my garage and so far have been please with the result. here's a link to some pics I posted of the process here on the board.
