    1993 Battery Cover

    Hi all!

Here's a dumb question from a new owner. How do I get to the battery in my 1993 Allante? I know where it is, I can look down there & see a part of it. I just can't get the hang of removing that carpeted cover! What's the trick?

You just have to carefully pull it straight towards the front of the car.

Sometimes you have to put down the divider between the trunk and rear shelf and get some fingers behind the rear lip of the battery cover so you can pull it from the back. If the cover is jammed and not in the track properly, that's about the only way you'll be able to apply enough force to pull it out.
