    90 Allante cowl shake/shimmy

I know convertibles have some cowl shake, but this is from 20 MPH to about 75 where it smooths out. Has new Cadillac wheels and the proper sized new tires. Does it with top up and top down.

    Anyone?

Cowl shake, or a chassis shimmy/vibration?

Steering wheel shakes, feels like front tires wobbling

Wheel balance issue, faulty tire, or possibly a bent or out of round rim (can be checked with a run out gauge while on the car).

Brand new allante wheels, brand new tires. Had them rebalanced. If it isn't inherent to allante, I'll have to check suspension parts and tightness of wheel bearings

With one front wheel at a time jacked up off the ground, all the others blocked and the parking brake on, run the engine to about 25 MPH, that equals 50 MPH. See if either starts to shimmy.
