    New Allante windshields

We have a few new factory bronze tint with shade band windshields , the early ones to mid 1990 and the later 90-93 Series as well competitively priced. Sorry, no OE Sicursive brand ones anymore. Anyone in the northeast can pick up and save freight and crating. We just got some in, would like to sell them since we don't carry too much Allante glass. Our family has been in the glass industry since 1953. We installed glass on the antiques when they were new!

Sircursiv manufactured the original Allante glass. I believe (may be wrong) that they're a European company.

Since their logo is prominently displayed on the glass, anyone wanting a bone-stock original Allante would have to have Sicursiv glass.

Big bucks even when they were available.

Looks like a pretty old post but not a lot of replies. Do you still have a new Allante windshield kicking around? If so, I need it shipped to Calgary, Alberta, Canada - what kind of $$$ am I looking at?
    Thanks,
    Don

This may be a stupid question but are Allante (93) windshields actually glass? I want to steel wool the cr*p out of mine but was concerned.

I'll be nice and just say yes .

What are you hoping to accomplish with the steel wool (oooo ONLY!)?

    Re: New Allante windshields

    haha thanks,

It just seems really bad with water spots and things like this when driving in the dark, that and the defrost comes on when IT wants to.

I had an 86 Toronado that had a plastic/glass windshield which was akin to the Eldorado so I was just checking !

    Cheers

Well there is a type of plastic in the windshield, but it's BETWEEN two panes of glass. It's what keeps it from shattering.

Clean the window (I recommend invisible glass).

Tape off any trim or paint around the glass.

Use 0000 steel wool dry, keep rubbing the glass until it's smooth to the touch.
