    Question 93 Allante wheel swap

Will a set of 4 04 CTS 17" oem wheels be a direct bolt on swap? They have the same bolt pattern 5x115 and same hub bore. My issue is the offset and my concern is one is rwd and the other fwd. Are all 4 wheels the same on each? Thank you for any info that you might have. Todd

    Re: 93 Allante wheel swap

this is one of the most common wheel swaps on an allante from what ive seen

edit: that comment wasnt meant to take away from the swap itself. its obviously a good idea if its so popular. it was meant to say its common therefore its easy and no work or mods required and also no problems have arisen from it

This photo reflects the 17" CTS wheels I put on my '92. I love the new look and receive many compliments on the car. The only adjustment issue I had was the front wheel caps would not fit over the axel ends. I took the silver cover off the plastic cap and cut the center out, then placed the shiny cover back on. Snapped on the wheel as if it were stock and has gone over 9,000 miles without issue! Go for it!
