im working on a 92 allante. car is overheating. there is no coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant. no gas vapors in the coolant. cooling fans do not come on. car overheated within a mile of driving it. any suggestions?
Well obviously if you have coolant and it is not a gasket problem it is your...fans. As you stated they are not working so the car will over heat. Check fuse #3 and if you have a battery test power to the fans to ensure there motors are working and that they are connected. Someone a little more experienced can tell you if this could be related to you thermostat also because when it gets stuck you can have heating issues.
