Transmission Cold in the Morning
I just bought an 1987 Allante' last month with 127,000 miles. The car runs well, but I have an issue with the Transmission. I have to let the car warm up for about 10 minutes after the first start of the day or it won't shift from 1st to 2nd gear. If I let it warm up, then it shifts just fine. And there isn't a problem for the rest of the day. Even if it sits for several hours. I had a Transmission shop pull the pan, change the filter & fluids and inspect what they could. He said that he saw no metal shavings or anything out of the ordinary. Any Thoughts???????
