newly purchased 93 allante ROAD TRIP HOME

As an update I picked up my allante and drove it 400 miles without a hitch. The temp gage got to the mid point and did not move. The computer is saying that I need an old change (no index life) and that the compressor ac coolant is low. Other than that she ran great !. Any suggestions on the engine oil ?. Or just go with the 10w30 as suggested ?.
Needless to say I'm very pleased. Oh thanks to all the fellow owners who have responded back with tips. (CHEF) ! ETC.

"CONGRATULATIONS!!!" You are now officially part of the SICKNESS!!!

The oil I've always used in mine is Mobil (Fully Synthetic) Extended Performance 10W-30.

I use synthetic 10w30 as well. Recommended from our mechanic. The compressor issue registers on my car on occasion because the old system was swapped out for a newer refrigerant and the pressure sensor is different. Not sure if that is the same for you.

    Let's see some pictures!

After a discussion with my mechanic a couple years ago, I run dino oil with a zinc additive in my older cars.
