Please help rear pulldown stuck

Remove this ad
okay gotta hurry so i can find a solution. just got my new rear pulldown motor from Dick today. Installation wasnt too hard. Went to close up the top and boom for the first time in months my top closes perfectly. Well then i try to release it. Neither my rear cover or the actual rear will open. Its locked and im fairly certain i didnt tighten the screw over the wire enough and it slipped out. Dear God how to i get it open? ive pressed the button under the top as well as tried the release in the trunk. nothing...please help!!

Re: Please help rear pulldown stuck

You should have a backup release wire leading into the trunk provided you reconnected it when you installed the new pulldown. Tell me you did hook it up? Otherwise I would suggest calling Dick Hussey as he probably has more experience with this than anyone else.
