Kind of quiet around here. I just purchased a 1990 Allante last month. The factory stereo was disabled and someone had installed a Sony stereo in the glove box. I just finished removing the aftermaket piece of junk and rebuilding the four Bose amps. They had scrapped the Bose speakers in the doors so I had to buy some replacements on E-bay. After about $10 worth of capacitors and $75 for two Bose Eldorado speakers (actually had to buy the whole speaker, amp, enclosure) all four amps are working and the system sounds great, much better than the aftermarket junk that someone had installed. The CD player still does not work so that is next on my list. We have had a lot of fun with the car so far. Looking forward to a lot of fall cruizin with the top down.

Re: Bose Speakers
How do you like the Allante? I just purchased mine a month or so ago. Pearl white, red interior, black top. I am in PA so looking forward to some fall cruising as well.
My factor radio is funny...first time on only the right-side speakers come on. Turn it off, and then back on, and the both sides sound fine!! !

Re: Bose Speakers
I like it, went for a drive today and the radio is plenty loud for cruzin with the top down. It was well maintained by the previous owners, red with natrual beige interior and even though it has 140,000 miles it is still in good condition. Radio and cruise control were the only things not working. Now I need to look at the cruise to see what is wrong with it.
