wait to the guy looks at the codes in the trunk and finds out that he has a 98U Pearl Flax (yellow) car, only 88 made .. he will double the price.

YES, TWO types:

1. in 1993, Pearl Flax which is faded yellow, 88 made
like the one on the post above




2. Ferrari Yellow, coded "Special", unk quantity, I have seen ONE '92 Ferrari Yellow FOR-SALE, I believe in the Carolinas - sold for an ungodly amount, but it was a HARD TOP series and the HARD TOP was included.

anything is possible.

If I had the car, most of the time I probably could tell you who has the top.

but
other tops can also be had, from $150 to $1,500, depending on location and tenacity of buyer.

Currently there are hardtops for sale on ebay including a phase three.

Buying isn't the problem, transporting is. I'd recommend buying one close enough that you could drive and put it on the car for the drive back!

Wonder what the % is that get repainted!
