Gold Allante Grill

There is an interesting item on sale at ebay currently. A gold Allante grille. I had never seen one before, and never heard of any Allante coming equipped with one. Anybody know?

There was a gold package offered, not sure if it was dealer installed or not, but watch terminal velocity to see a gold package equipped car.

It was aftermarket, dealer installed. They may have looked nice when they were new, but the ones I have seen over the last few years have left something to be desired. That type of aftermarket plating apparently does not hold up well over the years.
