| Brake Relay
Going to to try the cheap fix first by replacing the brake relay on my 87 and see if that restores braking power. I will never forget a bit Peter Ustinov did exploiting various national stereotypes, and using LeMans as a backdrop. I think he has the Italian team eliminating the braking system to conserve weight. Doing all the voices and accents, Ustinov the interviewer asks about that. The classic reply is, "Any fool can make a car go slow. It takes a genius to make it go fast."
Took out the old relay and noticed that the po had taped it together. See that the lower part was cracked, though I doubt the would cause much of a problem since the lower section only holds the connectors. Anyone know who has a parts car from which I might buy the complete relay? |
