Digital Dash Help

Logan,

I hear you are an expert!!! Please tell me if you can help:

Has anyone tried to swap out the digital dash panel from a 2001-2004 Devile DTS to a 2000 Deville. You know the current dash is that green LED digital and the DTS is that white lit sort of analog sweep needles? I can't imagine that Cadillac has changed the wiring harness between the two models.

I myself plan on this upgrade....

Yeah we know...Some issues I know about....

Many 2000 and newer GM modules will set a B1000 and B1001 codes when a different cluster or module is swapped.

The DTS cluster has a different cluster hood. On the DTS there is a window cut out on the upper cluster hood. This could be doable....

In over a year I have not seen a DTS cluster on eBay...

95 sts oil got gas in it

The DTS cluster will replace the Deville one with no mods.

You will have to cut a window in the bezel for the heads up cluster display.

Here is a picture of a DTS cluster we put in our Deville.
