Same scenario here! I got my car with 4600 miles and it was the same as yours till 10k miles or so only when it passed approx. 8-9k it wouldn't hold anymore on a slight hill. I then finally went in for an oil cahnge or something and remembered to tell them and it was fixed in an hour or so! Including the oil change! So, I would bring it in soon as it will not hold sooner or later.
