Precisely. The 1980+ Town Cars only had air springs in the rear, and the 88-97 Continentals had four wheel air bags, along with the Mark VII and VIII, and when the Continental got a facelift in '98, the front air springs were optional, otherwise the usual McPherson struts were used.
