| Re: Any AVIC N2 (1,3) Users out there? Whoever installed it didn't do it right, doesn't seem like you have constant power(yellow wire) hooked up thats why you keep losing memory, if it is hooked up check the fuse. Every radio in order to turn on needs a ground, constant and accessory power. the parking brake wire seems like it's not hooked up right either, make sure the person tied into the right wire on the parking brake, should only be 1 wire there. On the N2's and N3's you can't just ground the parking brake wire to by-pass the system theres a little silver sticker on the avic unit itself that if you take it off you will see 2 contact points. If you solder those 2 points together you will bypass the parking brake function. Only problem is if you heat up the contacts too much the solder on the other side of the circuit board will melt and the whole thing will be ruined. chances we take right, anyway good luck..................... |
