Hey, dont get me wrong....I just sold my 12 year old Cadillac.
I think once you check the codes....chances are there will be some strut trouble codes. Ok...a replacement electronic strut is $600....EACH....from Cadillac...if still available. I dont think the electronic ones are even available.
There is a TSB on the electronic struts that allows a modification after non-electronic replacements struts are installed by Cadillac. It turns off the SSS lamp.
The modification is to cut the wire to the SSS bulb.
