Like you, I've built a bunch of Chev SB engines. I think the file for the '73 should work OK for you. It's a straight-forward engine to work on. Timing the cam is different than a Chevy, but using the marks on the sprockets will get you there. Number 1 cyl isn't at firing- top-center like a Chevy when the timing marks are lined up. |

The water pump is mounted there etc. Last time I looked, the new plate is $125.
