I have no experiance with the V8-6-4 engines so i dont know if it schould be anything special things there but if not: The things that are there are maybe anti fauling spacers.
They are used on engines were the plugs gets so oily that they fauls. Instead of fix the real problem with pistongrings or/and valve shafts guidings you can, as a quick fix put those spacers at the fauling cylinders and the sparkplugs keeps clean longer.
That are recomended to not use those spacers to more than half the cylinders on a engine.

These are called plug de-foulers. The de-fouler is essentially a seperate chamber in which the gases flow in through a small hole at the block end of it... the plug sparks... ignites gases in chamber... in turn ignites gases in cylinder. They do work in the matter of keeping your plugs clean but they are a huge performance draw, manufacturers themselves recommend not to install on more than half of the engine's cylinders.
REMOVE THEM! |

well see what happens. thanks guys. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
