    Camshaft

    Does it matter if a put a camshaft from a 472, 1968 high comp into my 500, 1974 low comp engine? Better or worse? Thank's for comment's.

    It would work but wouldn't make a noticeable difference IMO. If you must run a stock cam, advance it a few degrees.

    Advancing cam timing improves the bottom end and idle. Retarding cam timing improves the top end performance.
