    So you get better throttle response? You mean just off the line or all around?

    Yes and yes. You gotta understand that I had the motor rebuilt less than 500 miles ago and my poorly rebuilt Q was smothering my off the line and mid range performance. I used to have to back off the throttle to keep it from stalling at any speed. If I was already in 3rd gear and trying to acrue some passing power, I would have to carefully toe-in and than back off and toe-in again. Now I can just stomp the pedal and it moves.

    Sounds like your accelerator pump was wasted. The accel pump is one of the biggest things that will destroy driveability and throttle response.
    That and a ruptured diaphragm on the choke pulloff/air valve damper.

    Yep...the choke pulloff was replaced as well.

    can you post a pic of your vacuum hose routing as i suspect mine are incorrect too.
