heat risers i believe they are. I have a 66 deville and coming out of the heads are 8 pipes. 4 on each side. they merge into larger pipes running parallel with the valve covers? what are these? what do they do? and how can i get rid of them?
They sound like they are part of the air injection system, which was for emmissions. Do they eventually hook to an air pump that is run by one of the V-belts?
not sure, they are capped at the top of the larger rails. would the original repair manual have information and pictures of this? been looking into getting one off ebay
