eh... honestly, it isn't gonna happen... when these cars were made (well, about 1970 and eailer) gas millage was the least concern... Americans wanted huge cars, huge engines, luxury, and didn't give a crap about the gas [millage] (which, IMO is the way it should be) 10mpg on the '68 seems normal... I was getting 12mpg with my '79.... that is one of the reasons it is not my daily driver.... you want good gas millage for cheap... get an '85-'90 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight Royale... no lie... 3800 V6, I get 21/34mpg with mine, they are very easy to find, cheap to buy, and very cheap to maintain too....

bascially, even if you did something to increase your millage 2-3mpg... on a tankful what's it going to be? 40miles.... it really dsn't pay off.... at that point, I would rather do things to increase the output of the engine then get better fuel economy

M37? Are you putting a Caddy in it? I put a 500cid Cad in my M37 last year - just a wee bit more power than with the flat head!

10 MPG out of a 68 CDV is pretty damn good
