    Starting problem

This is probably a ground ball for some you folks but here it is. Eldorado been' sitting for seven months. Tried starting. Charged Battery. Thought I shorted out ignition module so replaced it. Added gas treatment. Thought had moisture in gas, maybe? Car tries to turn over, no luck. Plugs looks good. Wires Ok. HEI ignition Rotor cap looks Ok. Checked ignition coil with ohmeter. Seems within Specs. Used starter fluid. Pretty cold around here 25 degrees. Top of distributor got some rust on springs near pick up coil. Is this a problem? Any ideas. Need to get her started before Spring time rush at conv. top. vendor.
