    I Live In New York, Brooklyn Wat Is The Average $$ 1 Might Pay 2 Have A Engine Rebuilt? Not Custom Just Stock? Any Advice Is Apprciated.

    It depends on the engine, where you take it and what is needed. Also any problems the shop finds when the open it up can add to the cost as well.
    Check around at a few reputable shops and get some quotes. Also see what a rebuilt engine from Jasper, GM, etc costs.

    I'd say that sounds about right. But as said, it really depends on how much the machine shop charges, and if they find anything bad, etc.

    That sounds fairly reasonable... but say your cam has a severely worn lobe, that means a new cam and lifters... say you have to bore it 30 over due to wear, you get to buy new pistons & rings in addition to the cost of the machine work. It can add up fast if there's stuff wrong, so just be prepaired.
