    500 Build; Assembly Progress (PICS)

I recently got the Edlo 500 block back from the machine shop and am now just waiting to get all my parts in order. Here are a few images of the motor, there are many more pictures and facts on the engine page of my project page. Once I get my bearings and pistons in, and have the time to get this baby together I’ll post pictures of it coming along

That block is looking good. What's the lift on the cam you are putting in there?

I was looking at a Comp Cams 94-302-5, or maybe a 94-304-5. The cam I have (Torque Maximizer I) specs out just between the two, so I'm going to break the motor in with a cam I know (have), and only upgrade if I feel it's lacking.

Thanks - fortunately this one came with no motor/trans to "dispose" of as it was a 4100 car originally. My Fleetwood on the other hand is parked collecting dust since it's HT4100 took a dump a few months back... Man I hate that motor.

The bearings and gaskets arrived, just rings, pistons, and the ARP stuff to get here...
