A 500 In A G-Body, Fox, Cadillac, T-Bird..... I'd Walk Right By It At The Car Show.
Really, I'd stare at any 500 car I saw in a car show. A 500 in a 240 is unique, but it's unique for a reason.

At a car show, I would sit and stare at the 500 in an '83 Coupe deVille before the 500 in a Cutty or a 500SX

Why? Exactly. There Is No Reason Why.

    Re: 500sx

Sorry, but I just don't think seeing a 426 HEMI or a 440 Magnum in a Porsche is a great thing... I mean, I enjoy seeing the work involved, and I am sure I would say its nice and all, but inside I couldn't help but wonder.... WHY? Thats all.

Then again, Porsche or Nissan dosn't do anything for me, so chances are, in a car show, I would never even be in their section, so I would never get to see those wonders

I vote for 1986 Grand Prix with the cushy pillow velour interior.I've always wanted to build one with a Cad BB motor. All the luxury and 2/3 the weight!

    Yeah, sorry guys

However, I think that Stampie from CB7 is interested and still kind of wants to do it. He and I discussed the project for a while.

G body would really look nice... I've always liked them at the track, they make a nice stable bracket racer (with a full frame too!).

The guy that bought my rust bucket '70 Fleetwood took the 472 and dropped it in a '78 Firebird. This was his daily driver, he took me for a ride in it... It was VERY nice
If I remember right, all he said he had to modify was the brake booster to clear the valve cover. A few taps with a hammer took care of that.

    Good Luck!
