Join the Oldsmobile extended family.... you'll learn to love Oldsmobile even more and get really mad when someone treats their Oldsmobile bad.... you stick together and stand by fellow Oldsmobile owners, when someone says they drive an Oldsmobile you are instantly drawn to them and want to know what kind of Oldsmobile and everything about he car, then you want to show your Oldsmobile to your fellow Oldsmobile owner, the Rocket becomes a new trademark for you and when you get bored you start driving the Oldsmobile Rocket on everything around you. You REALLY dislike GM for the fact they killed Oldsmobile, and that should have never happened. You want Oldsmobile back. You are drawn to Oldsmobile muscle cars more then the rest. You want to get Oldsmobile stuff to hang in your room, it becomes something out of the norm, you are happy to tell other people you drive an Oldsmobile, you enjoy your Oldsmobile. Everytime you walk up to your car you think "Thats my Oldsmobile" You will never want to sell your Oldsmobile. It dosn't need to be perfect, you just love driving it. You are part of the Oldsmobile family. Welcome to the family.
That could be you!
don't delay! buy today!
damnit damnit damnit!!! I miss my Oldsmobile.

Rick, I think that there is a high chance that you would go insane if I bought an 88 olds 3800 and all and made a beautiful video of me enjoying it.

1989 has the better tail lights, the hood ornament and chrome strip DELETED (looks better on this car) and the name changed from "Delta 88" to "Eighty Eight Royale" (undecided which is better... most think of RWD when I say Delta.. still, Delta sounds cool, so I say Delta 88 often)
by "enjoying" you do mean treating nice and being good to it, right?
Stay strong girl! I'll be back for ya, I promise!

We have Sal's Oldsmobileforums.com I am a member there, posted a few times... AFAIK its the ONLY Oldsmobile site... but kinda dead... there is a core user base.. I should post more and try to help bring it to life.... love that car

Yeah I'm a member of that site too, its a shame there is no traffic.. I joined because of the 1991-96 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight I almost bought on multliple occasions.

That Cutlass is a find! I never see the Salon's with the buckets, center console, and the good gauges! For a decient G-body about 1500 or 2000. I had a 79 Cutlass, 2nd fav car next to my Lac! With a basic 350 in it, it was fast! I still want a 80's Regal, I love those!
Here's some pics of a 79' Cutlass.

Our faimly friend that runs a machine shop has a '79 Cutlass like that, it was his HS car (he is in his 30's now) and he kept it all this time. It had the 3.8 V6 when he first got it, heh... it now has a crazy built Olds 455, dual Hollys.... the thing is freakin insane, I know it was running 13's in the 1/4 last, has a TH400... fully street driveable, he runs it on 100LL, buys it from the airport I used to fly out of what a sweet car that is.

So Jackson, have we swayed your decesion from Nissan to Oldsmobile yet?
Or do I have to get Rick on your case?

You guys have made me reconsider, but I doubt much more thinking will take place until I'm done with the Eldo.
