472 Featured in Hemmings Classic Cars

Just got the February issue of Hemmings Classic Cars today, and this month's Mechanical Marvels feature is the 1968 Cadillac 472-cubic-inch V-8. It's an interesting read, even though some of the technical details are way over my head; there are several cutaway drawings as well.

From the article's conclusion:
"The 472 was quickly accepted by both the public and the industry as an extremely refined, powerful, smooth and reliable engine."

For any of you old-school big block Caddy fans, it may be worth a trip to your nearest Barnes & Noble or Borders.

I LOVE that magazine. They portray old cars how they should be portrayed...with respect, but without the anal retentive standards that make other high class car clubs unattractive to people like me. I am SO at Barnes and Noble to go check out the feature on my engine.
